B Rixile is the b sides EP to Elixir. Much like Elixir, one of the main focuses amongst the tracks is alchemical transformation. The feeling of songs such as march of the Ents, Seed of life and Butoh start out dark and gross and are transformed and resolved into lighter and happier tones.

The piano part in the second Seed of Life is based on sacred geometry (see "seed of life") and also contains Fibonacci sequence numbers in the percussion.

March of the Ents was inspired by J. R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings where the ancient tree lords of the forest, the Ents, are forced to do battle with the power hungry, over controlling, over consuming, dark wizard Sarumon. Though they are peaceful loving creatures, they detest seeing the destruction of nature and their home. When events reach a tipping point, they are forced to unleash their furry upon the darkness. By doing so, they help to clean and transform Middle Earth, leading the land into a new age of peace prosperity. All of this started by two little hobbits. They say the wings of a butterfly can cause a hurricane on the other side of the Earth.

Butoh is a kind of interpretive dance created in Japan to express the horrors of the atomic bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The song Butoh was written at the time of the Fukushima disaster and was a way for me to express the pain I felt. Not only was it a way for me to express the pain but also a way for me to take the hurt the dread and transform it into something positive to heal my own feelings about the situation.

May this album inspire you to make you're own transformations. Unhappiness and pain are often catalysts for growth and positive change and we always have a choice of how we deal with negative forces in our lives. Do we stand by, grovel, complain? Or do we search for the root of the problem and continue our transformations into more beautiful and luminous beings.
